All team members should plan on arriving Sunday, 10.Mar and departing on Wednesday, 13.Mar*. You will confirm your flight with our agency, TravelTrust, and the events team will arrange your hotel room.
 
*Exceptions include those invited to specific pre-SKO activities – HR leadership training + Sales Leadership & SE team training. If you are included in these sessions, you will receive direct communication from Chris Meyer, Chris Ross or Irene Badal
 
ALL flights for SKO will be booked this year via our agency, TravelTrust. Once you register, the TravelTrust team will reach out to you via email to confirm your flight. Any flight booked outside of this process will not be reimbursed.

Am I responsible for booking my flight to/from Atlanta? 
We are running all air travel through our agency, TravelTrust for this year’s SKO. Once you register, the TravelTrust team will reach out to you via email to confirm your flight. Any flight booked outside of this process will not be reimbursed. 

Flights should follow the date pattern of arriving on Sunday, 10.Mar and departing on Wednesday, 13.Mar (after 3 PM).  
 
*SE TEAM & SALES LEADERSHIP* - You will need to arrive on Saturday, 9.Mar for required training on Sunday, 10Mar. 

Am I responsible for booking my hotel accommodations? 
No, please do not book any hotel accommodations. Hotel rooms will be arranged based on the in/out dates of your role/function.  
 
ALPHARETTA EMPLOYEES — 
Hotel rooms will only be provided if you request one in the registration form. You should expect to share a room. If you choose to commute in, you can expense Lyft/Uber or parking charges. 

Will Barracuda arrange transportation to/from the airport? 
Transportation will NOT be provided. Everyone will be responsible for their own transportation between the Atlanta Marriott Marquis and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL). 
 
PLEASE NOTE: ATL is a 10 mile/ ~20 minute commute to the Marriott. 

Will I need a Credit Card to check in to the hotel? 
Yes, you will need a credit card and a valid ID. Your room and tax will be covered; however, you will be responsible for any incidentals.

Will I be sharing a room? 
Yes, please plan on sharing a room. Please note roommate requests (same gender) on the registration form and we will try our best to accommodate your requests. In order to make your request easier to accommodate, please have the person you request also select you.

When does the event begin? 
The event will begin with a Welcome Reception Sunday evening at 6:00 PM at the Marriott Marquis. Sessions will begin after breakfast on Monday, 11.Mar at 7:00 AM. The formal agenda will be released with the mobile app.

What if I need to arrive before 10.Mar or after 13.Mar? 
Travel outside of program dates is prohibited. You will be responsible for any costs outside of our event or travel booked outside of our flight booking process and dates.

Will I need to bring a laptop? 
Yes, please bring your laptops and phones so that you can handle any necessary business. The hotel guestrooms and conference rooms will be equipped with WI-FI and we will have a mobile app for all important event information. 

What is the dress code? 
Business casual/smart casual is recommended for all meetings and activities. We will be hosting an awards dinner on Tuesday night where cocktail attire is welcome but not required. The weather in Atlanta should be in the low 60s F during the day and low 40s F during the night.

Are spouses/guests welcome to join any portion of the event? 
No, spouses or guests will not be allowed to join any portion of SKO.

What can I expense? 
Approved expenses include ground transportation costs and travel meals. All other meals during the the event will be provided Sunday, 10.Mar – Wednesday, 13.Mar. Any meals outside of what is provided will not be reimbursed by the company. Please ensure you are following our standard corporate expense guidelines. All expenses should be submitted through Concur. Please select ‘SKO’ as the expense category for tracking.

Are we going to the office? 
No, there are no events scheduled at the Alpharetta office.
